Suhail Dar - President
Suhail Dar is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. While in school, he concentrated in Management. During his undergraduate years he served one term as the Islamic Education Subcommittee Chair ('08). Currently, he is applying to medical school and will be conducting research in Immunology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
At the national level, Suhail served as the 2009 East Zone Co-Conference and Finance Chair for the Philadelphia Planning Committee. Insha'Allah, this year he hopes to bring his talents to MSA National at the presidential position and reach out to students for a more fruitful experience at their local MSA chapters and to better equip them to be leaders in Muslim communities across the United States.

Yasmin Hussein - Treasurer
Sr. Yasmin graduated from Florida Atlantic University where she completed her Bachelors in Intercultural/Organizational Communication with a minor in Non-Western History and is currently pursing her Master's degree in Intercultural, Cultural and Rhetorical Communication. She has been involved in her local Project Downtown chapter for over 3 years now and hopes to help continue the growth of PD across North America. Prior to becoming Treasurer, Sr. Yasmin served as the Community Service Task Force Chair '07-'09 and Action Hour coordinator '07. She is looking forward to the upcoming year and hopes to connect with MSAers all across North America.

Iman Sediqe - Central Zone USA Rep
Sr. Iman Sediqe is a rising senior at the University of Michigan studying psychology, sociology, and afro-american studies. Iman has been active in her local MSA, serving on the executive board as education chair (2007-08) and vice president (2008-09). She has also served as the chair for the Great Lakes Council in Michigan.
On the national level, Iman has served as the programs co-chair for the 2007 Central Zone conference held in Dearborn, Michigan. She has also served as part of the Programs Task Force. Iman has worked extensively with networking and outreach and hopes to raise that to another level this year as the Central Zone representative.

Shahzad Mussadiq - West Zone Canada Rep
Brother Shahzad currently attends the University of Manitoba, located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and is in his first year working toward a Bachelors Degree in Commerce. Shahzad has been involved with his local community with a variety of organizations for many years, from the Manitoba Muslim Seniors Assocsiation, to MAC Youth as well as being involved in MSA activities, both in his local MSA and with National. Shahzad is a passionate individual and will use his leadership skills and strong relationships with other Muslim organizations to further promote the growth of West Zone Canada.

Yasmine Hussein - Community Service Task Force Chair

Prior to becoming CSTF Chair, Sr. Yasmin served as the Action Hour coordinator and helped coordinate AH for East and Central Zone conference '07 and MSA's Continental Conference '07.
Idris Elbakri - Compass Task Force Chair
Br. Idris completed his B.S. and M.S. at Brigham Young University (BYU) and Ph.D. at the University of Michigan, all in Electrical Engineering. At BYU, he served two terms as MSA chapter vice-president, and while at Michigan served again as MSA president, graduate student representative to the Michigan Student Assembly and vice-president of the Islamic Center of Ann Arbor.
After finishing his Ph.D. in ‘03, he joined MSA National as the vice-chair of the Education and Training Task Force. He currently serves as the chair of COMPASS, MSA National's management training program.
Meraj Ahmed - Information Technology Task Force Chair
Southern born and raised, Br. Meraj is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham pursuing his degree in Electrical Engineering. He served as the President of his university’s MSA chapter for two years.
At the national level, Meraj is continuing hisposition of IT task force chair. He has also also previously served as a member of the East Zone USA zonal committee for three years. In this next term, Meraj hopes to continue befitting MSA National with his technical experience in order that the organization may further realize its vision and meet its goals.
Zainab Khan - Media and Communications Task Force Chair
Zainab Khan is a student at Queen's University in Canada. She began working with MSA National in 2005 and served as Vice President Canada until 2007. Since then she has been Chair of Media & Communication Task Force. She also serves as a member of COMPASS, MSA National's management training program.
Atifa Chiragh - Programs Task Force Chair
Atifa Chiragh was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA in Management Information Systems both from Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico (UNM). She currently works at Honeywell International as a Systems Integration Analyst. Atifa has served as president, advisor and vice president of the MSA at UNM. Prior to joining COMPASS, Atifa was an active member of the Programs Task Force (2000 to 2005) and served as the program chair for the MSA Continental Conference in 2004.
