06/13/08 - MSA National offers condolences to the Iowa Boy Scouts

For Immediate Release:

News of the harrowing tornado that tore through an Iowa Boy Scout camp on Wednesday night left the country shocked as the natural disaster claim the lives of four young scouts. MSA National sends its condolences to the families and friends of those who passed and those who still remain in critical medical condition.

The Boy Scouts of America train young students to become the leaders of tomorrow. We commend the efforts of the Iowa police and medical authorities for responding as quickly as possible to the tragic storm. We also send our condolences to the Boy Scouts organization for losing these fine young men. It is truly a loss for us all. We at MSA National join the communities in both Iowa and Nebraska and by the nation as a whole in sending our prayers and support to the families affected by this tragedy
